Hi everyone! I'm Jordan, a Kindergarten teacher, DIY junkie, and globe trotter.

I love teaching Kindergarten. I have to admit, when I was first hired as a Kindergarten teacher I was a bit terrified. I had planned on teaching 3rd or 4th grade, but sometimes you just have to go where the jobs are. After a year, I was hooked! Our school's mascot is a gator, so we affectionately call our students Kindergators, and they call me Mrs. H. I love teaching my Kindergators. I'm rarely the perfect teacher, but I strive to give my students the best!

I got married in July 2015 and my husband and I bought out first home in September 2016. We love owning our little slice of Columbus, OH, and I love getting to do as many DIY projects as my heart can handle.  We both graduated from the University of Michigan (GO BLUE!) and now live amongst the enemy (Ohio State). We jump at every opportunity to travel, near and far. The goal is to visit all 50 states and 6 of the 7 continents - I can do without Antarctica, but I know Mr. H would love to hit up that icy continent.
